Council reviews and updates the Local Emergency Management Plan (EMPLAN) which details arrangements for, prevention of, preparation for, response to and recovery from emergencies within our local government area.

This plan details the arrangements for preparation, response and recovery from emergencies within the Berrigan Shire Council Local Government Area (LGA).
Currently Council's Local Emergency Management Plan is under review and will be adopted by Regional Emergency Management Committee.
This plan provides a coordinated and comprehensive approach to emergency management in NSW.
