BERRIGAN SHIRE TO UNDERTAKE CULTURAL REVIEW AND COMPLIANCE AUDIT

Berrigan Shire Council has commissioned Morrison Low to undertake a Cultural Review and Compliance Audit, aimed at helping Council to better understand the state of workplace culture.

“This review is a “health check”, one where we seek to gain an understanding of what we’re doing well, what is letting us down and where we can identify opportunities for improvement,” said Mayor, Matthew Hannan.

“This is as much an external exercise as it is internal. We want to know how we are servicing the community. Poor response to community may indicate poor internal culture. We want to ensure Berrigan Shire is providing our services and responses at a level that reflects our promise of service being core to our duties,” said Mayor Hannan.

Mayor Hannan said, “Over the coming weeks, there will be opportunity for all to have a say; Councillors, staff and community. We want to ensure the feedback is robust, so Morrision Low can develop an action plan to support continuous improvement.”

All members of the community are encouraged to complete an anonymous online survey and share their experiences interacting with Council. “We want to know the good and the bad. Please give constructive and honest feedback. We can assure the responses are anonymous as they will be held and managed by the third party provider,” said Mayor Hannan.
