2024 Berrigan Shire Council by-election

Ballot Box.PNG

Berrigan Shire Council is governed by 8 Councillors who are elected to represent the Council area, which includes Barooga, Berrigan, Finley and Tocumwal.

Our Councillors are elected for a 4-year term of office, however in 2021 Councillors were elected for a shorter term due to the impacts of COVID-19.

In the 2024 Local Government elections Berrigan Shire Council did not receive 8 nominations which means there will be a by-election to fill one Councillor position.
