Speechie Talks at the Library

In November the library will be hosting free presentations by local speech pathologists in partnership with Speech Pathology Australia and the Australian Library and Information Association.

The presentations are focused on helping parents and carers to develop language and literacy for children aged 0 – 5 years at home.

The speech pathologists will be sharing tips, library resources and a demonstrated book reading of the 2023 Speech Pathology Australia Book of the Year. 

4 presentations available:

• Barooga- Wednesday the 8th at 10:30am
• Tocumwal- Thursday the 16th at 10:30 am
• Finley- Wednesday the 22nd at 10:30 am
• Berrigan- Tuesday the 28th at 10:30 am 

The content of these information sessions are aimed at parent and carers (young children who require minding are welcome).
