Exhibition of works by Berrigan's own Barbara Dunn is featuring in the Berrigan Library at present, hopefully until Christmas. I recommend you go in and have a look at the amazing works that she has on show.
The library is open this evening for the Berrigan Christmas Street Market and will otherwise be open Saturdays from 9.30am to 12pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9.30am to 5.30pm (closed for lunch from 12.30-1.00pm)
Peter Babington volunteered to take all 300 kilograms over in the Tocumwal Rotary Ute. This is such a fantastic effort by the ladies and we are so glad for the support that Toc Rotary provided.
I personally can't wait to see how many squares are knitted next year.
Each year, schools and public libraries across Australia spend a week celebrating books and Australian authors and illustrators.
This years theme is "books light up our world". Why don't you take this opportunity to visit one of our libraries to borrow a book? Or you can download a book to your reading device via BorrowBox. We also have audiobooks to listen to - great for when travelling in your car or lying in bed.
Dinosaur eggs were hatching at the Finley Library today during Storytime and the children got a touch of Dinosauritis.
It was fun for all on such a cold Wednesday morning with the theme being dinosaurs.
Storytime happens once a week throughout the Shire at all the library branches.
