Revenue Co-ordinator

Council is seeking applications for the position of Revenue Co-ordinator.

Main purpose of this role is the operation of Council’s revenues, including rates, charges, grants and claims, together with maintenance of all rating property records, including upkeep of relevant registers.

The position is classified as Band 15 within Council’s salary structure with a salary range from $75414.00 to $82197.00 per annum plus statutory superannuation, with actual salary to be based on qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2017.

Casual Pool Lifeguards

Council is seeking applications for the position of Casual Pool Lifeguards for the 2017/2018 season, which starts November 2017. You will be responsible for a wide range of duties including:

  •        Supervision of the public and ensuring a safe and friendly pool environment
  •        Carrying out cleaning and maintenance


ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

  •         RLSSA Pool Lifeguard Licence
  •         Current Advanced Resuscitation Techniques Certificate, including oxygen use
  •         Current WorkCover approved Senior First Aid Certificate
  •         Ability to satisfactorily complete Lifeguard Competency Assessment
  •         Ability to communicate effectively with the public and possess excellent interpersonal skills
  •         Ability to supervise pool patrons
  •         Possess a “Working with Children Check” Clearance in accordance with the ‘Child Protection (WWC) Act 2012’


The position is classified as Band 1 within Council’s salary structure with a salary of $26.3305 per hour (which includes a casual loading) plus penalty rates for Saturday and Sunday work in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2017.
